We are very pleased to announce that one of our distinguished and honoured guests, who will be receiving a special award at our Awards Gala Evening, is the supremely talented star of stage and screen, Dame Siân Phillips DBE. Her exceptional talent has seen her appear with the Welsh National Theatre and win awards for verse speaking at the Welsh Eisteddford. She was awarded a scholarship to RADA, and went on to win its prestigious Bancroft Gold Medal for 'Hedda Gabler' and was offered a Hollywood contract after leaving RADA. In January 2018, Siân was recognised for her illustrious career spanning more than 70 years at the BBC Audio Drama Awards, and was given a Radio Lifetime Achievement Award. We look greatly forward to welcoming her to our festival.
